Good to know - more useful advice

  • Please remember to carry out the sensitivity and strand test before you colour your hair

  • If you're pregnant or breastfeeding – congratulations! But we don't advise you use
Tints of Nature during these times.

  • If you're undergoing chemotherapy, radiotherapy or other forms of treatment, we're sorry to say we don't recommend you use Tints of Nature

  • Can I save un-used colour for another time?
Colour Gel and Colourfix that have not been mixed together can be saved for
another time. Make sure the cap is tightly closed and you store the bottles
out of direct sunlight and away from extreme temperatures.
If you've already mixed the colour, use it straightaway and then safely discard any unused mixture – you can't keep it and use it again.

  • When mixing colours, please make sure you measure them accurately for the best result.

  • Never use metal utensils with Tints of Nature. Please use either the applicator bottle supplied or a plastic bowl and brush to apply Tints of Nature colour.

  • Tints of Nature can be used over other hair colours except metallic-based
products and henna. If in doubt, carry out the strand test.

  • If you're having your hair permed, wait one week before using Tints of Nature.

  • Protect your clothes and keep clear of fabrics, carpets, paintwork and some plastics, while you're using Tints of Nature, as they can stain permanently if you don't wipe up spills straightaway.

  • We're very happy to say that all our colours are suitable for use by vegans and vegetarians, as are Tints of Nature Shampoo and Conditioner.

  • For the best colour results we recommend you carry on using Tints of Nature Shampoos, Reconstructing Treatment and Conditioners. We've specially formulated them to seal-in your hair colour for longer.
